My daughter requested the Triangle Tavern as the location for her birthday dinner this year. We all love the bread and peppers they serve. We've been going there since I was a kid, in the 70's. I didn't notice it, but my mom said that when they were pulling out they noticed a 'building for sale' sign on the place. Anyone know if they are going out of business? If they do I don't know where to go for Italian to get the bread and peppers. It's the only place we've ever gone.

Yeah, they are trying to sell it since none of the kids want to take it over. Frank recently hurt himself pretty bad with a fall or something too, so he's laid up. I feel bad for him, he makes the Triangle a great place. Hopefully if someone buys it they can keep it up and maybe make it even better, but sad to say it will probably never be the same.

That would be a shame. I wondered why Frank wasn't there. I missed him running around greeting customers.
Not Friday, but the last time we were there, I was disappointed in the lady who was the hostess, I assumed it was a family member. A foursome came in and requested a certain waitress. It was obvious they were regulars and they knew the waitress well. As the waitress was taking the customers orders, this hostess came over and, in a foul tone, was admonishing the waitress because she didn't turn around the 'please seat yourself' sign. It wasn't a 'hey, please do that'. She kept going on and on in front of this table and all off the other customers. The waitress had apologized the first time and said she would get it as soon as she took the order, but this Hostess just wouldn't let it go. If she is one of Franks daughters, I would hope she wouldn't consider taking it over.
