A few days ago it was reported that Tim McCarver will retire from his "analyst" job on the FOX network at the end of this season.
Thank God for that!McCarver's "make it up as you go" baseball broadcasting is almost as painful as Chris Matthews distorting the news on MSNBC.

As long as we're talking MSNBC anchor people, I have to bring up Rachel Maddow. What is her deal? Does she get extra points for putting down conservative Americans on the one hand and lavishing praise on the Democrats....all in the same sentence? That woman is as bias as one can be! Joseph Gobbels could have taken lessons from her in the propaganda field!

McCarver was good for the game, all things being equal. He did, however, have a penchant to describe something to death.

I hope Matthews never gets fired or retires. He is just too funny to watch trying to defend Obama.
The way his face almost exploded after that first debate with Romney was priceless.

For any Mets fan growing up in the 1980's Tim McCarver was a fixture- either enjoyed or not- to the game.

In a day of "light" LTE's, the headline for this one, losing the pain, describes them all. And, I too am pleased to see Mr McCarver and his pronounciation of "because" (Bic Cose) retire.

Here is a reply I'd like to post to Tedeaux...
Hah, I have a raunchy joke I could apply to that line.
I hear Rachael Maddow is so sarcastic even her vagina talks back. Yeah, she calls it her answering cervix.
